GREEN BUILDING

 

Byrom Building Corp recently became ‘green certified’ by  the NAHB.  We are incorporating many ideas and techniques according to ‘Green Building Standards’ and with each new project are taking steps to build a better structure. 

Green building is the practice of increasing the efficiency with which buildings use resources - energy, water, and materials - while reducing building impacts on human health and the environment, through better siting,

design, construction, operation, maintenance,

and removal - the complete building life cycle.


We are building our first ENERGY STAR rated

home now.  The key to building a “green”

home is the Third Party Verification Process. 

The home is inspected during the construction process and given a grade based on the amount of products used and the results of the tests run. 


We are also using some of the following products

to increase the efficiency of our homes.
